It was Dylan Métrailler, director of Évolène Région Tourisme, and Éric Quinodoz, cultural delegate, who had the idea of integrating the medals Genius Loci in Val d'Hérens, which made it possible to deploy the first medals in record time. Ultimately, nearly 70 places will be able to be listed in the Val d'Hérens.
Led by a dynamic team mainly made up of young locals, Évolène introduced connected medals, arousing great enthusiasm among residents. These medals open the doors to history and hidden treasures through captivating content about the village and its chalets. This initiative demonstrates the municipality's desire to combine tradition and technology to preserve and promote its cultural and natural heritage, while highlighting the commitment and dynamism of its local youth. Évolène continues to attract curious people and enthusiasts eager to discover the hidden treasures of this Alpine pearl.
