Yes it's possible! But for reasons of rights and costs Genius Loci does not directly host audio and video files like specialized platforms like Youtube or Vimeo would do.
This means that you must publish your videos somewhere before uploading them to Genius loci. Here are the steps to follow:
The option " adding HTML » appears like this in the editor.
This feature must be activated beforehand for it to be visible in your profile.
Please note, it is not initially activated.
We only activate it on request for users with a minimum of technical knowledge.

All types of “HTML embed” content can be integrated into Genius Loci
For example:
- Youtube or Vimeo video
- Spotify or Soundcloud audio podcast
- Google map
- Matterport Immersive 3D Viewer
- etc ...
Let's look together at how to embed a Youtube video:
- Click on the “Share” button which is located under the video of your choice
- Then click on the “Integrate” button. This is where you can retrieve the famous code HTML embed to stick in Genius Loci.
Depending on the platforms it will be more or less difficult to find. Very often the easiest thing is to simply type in Google “ Spotify embed code " to discover a page like this which explains how to do it.
3. Copy the entire embed code, then come back to Genius Loci and opens the “HTML” tool
4. Paste the code and click “Add”
The Youtube video now appears in Genius Loci!
This is a block of content like any other, so you can move or delete it, like a simple block of text.
Ultimately, thanks to the “add HTML” functionality, any video or multimedia content already present on Youtube, Vimeo or other platforms can be very easily added to Genius Loci.
