The business model of Genius Loci is based on the sale of personalized stainless steel medals associated with interactive digital spaces dedicated to the promotion of local heritage. We are mainly B2B: our clients are towns, villages, communities, or tourist regions. Some owners of exceptional private properties (castles, parks, gardens, etc.) have also adopted Genius Loci.
Here are the main ways we generate revenue:
1. Sale of medals : Cities, villages, tourist offices, associations and other cultural institutions can purchase personalized medals, marked with unique QR codes. These medals allow visitors to access a dedicated digital space which reveals information about the place through a simple scan
2. Digital solution Genius Loci: In addition to physical medals, we offer a web platform where content can be co-created, automatically translated into many languages, and enriched with usage statistics. Users can also manage multiple contributors and medals through a dedicated interface.

3. Workshops and support : We offer combined offers including medals, technical support as well as an in-person workshop to help municipalities launch the project, discover and test our technology and train their citizens
4. Genius Loci Pro : We are going to launch a subscription-based digital solution, optional but very powerful, because it is based on the basic infrastructure of Genius Loci. Institutions that will take a license Genius Loci PRO will be able to access detailed statistics on the use and attendance of medals, create thematic routes and personalized maps, promotional landing pages and will have access to the “Dashboard”: a tool allowing the centralized management of a large number of medals at regional level.
