For the 2023 edition, a Franco-Swiss jury composed of political and economic actors awarded five prizes. Around forty applications illustrated the wealth and economic and social diversity of the Lake Geneva region.
The Lake Geneva Cohesion & Solidarity Prize, worth CHF 25, was created in collaboration with the Lake Geneva Unions of economic sectors to encourage solidarity and promote the values of openness in this innovative and competitive region. Launched in June 000, it rewards local projects that highlight the diversity of the border region.
The applications, mainly from private companies and associations, cover various areas such as living together, employment, training, artisanal knowledge and the local economy. The jury, chaired by Frédéric Borloz, State Councilor of the canton of Vaud, chose five winners, including Genius Loci SA, for their exemplary initiatives and their commitment to strengthening the local economic fabric.
