Medals have been installed in the North of Vaud to allow you to discover atypical or historical sites in the region. The Association for the Development of Northern Vaudois (ADNV) inaugurated the first medals at Vuiteboeuf in Switzerland.

This is Sébastien Lassueur, director of the unit and the marketADNV, who launched this project. The objective is to discover little-known, even hidden, places of the Northern Vaud. The "Genius loci" medals were offered to the municipalities, which will each develop their own route by highlighting the sites they wish to promote. The municipalities will also involve their residents and the owners of buildings of heritage interest. The ambition is to be able to deploy an inter-municipal medal network in the medium term, linking a good number of the 70 municipalities in the region, which includes localities such as Yverdon, St-Croix, Vallorbe, Orbe and Romainmôtier.
To start writing content in the tool Genius Loci, a citizen workshop was organized in collaboration with the team of Genius Loci. In addition to the medals, the town of Vuiteboeuf has chosen to add explanatory panels to celebrate its 1000th anniversary.
The mission of Genius Loci is to make the development of local heritage accessible to as many people as possible.
Our prices are intended to be affordable for cities, regions and small villages. For the price of a single classic tourist sign, it is possible to deploy several dozen of our medals.
It is possible to acquire only a pack of 20 medals, or to entrust us with a broader mandate based on support, which includes a citizen workshop and a WhatsApp support group dedicated to your project.
