Our medals can also become regional infrastructure for visualising and managing visitor flows.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Affordable &amp; durable<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Genius Loci aims to be economical, even for villages or regions with modest budgets. A medal pack costs 2,500 Swiss francs. For the price of a single tourist panel, our medals let you showcase 20 different places. And it is a one-off cost \u2014 there is no ongoing subscription.<\/p>\n<p>Compared with tourist panels, they are far more durable. They will stay in place for a very long time without degrading, with reduced risk of vandalism.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Medals that are easy to install<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We consulted many experts, architects and heritage conservators when designing the medals. They integrate well into the environment and do not alter sites. They are discreet and easy to fix. Our clients have readily obtained permission to install Genius Loci medals on protected monuments in Switzerland and France.<\/p>\n<p>You can also fix them easily, for example on posts, gates, public benches, and so on&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Participatory<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Collaboration is at the heart of content creation. The work can be shared among several people. That speeds up the project and produces richer content than would be available elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>You can involve your citizens to share their stories by creating content themselves or by interviewing them. Younger generations can also take part and put their skills to use (making videos and photos, or recording audio). This community spirit helps citizens involved in Genius Loci projects maintain a stronger bond with where they live.<\/p>\n<p>Note that participation is not mandatory \u2014 content creation can be reserved for a single specialist. Ultimately, Genius Loci is a flexible tool that supports many types of project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Who creates the content?<\/h2>\n<p>We provide a simple, effective tool to showcase your local heritage. As digital specialists, we have applied all our know-how to build the most user-friendly tool \u2014 including for content creation.<\/p>\n<p>With Genius Loci medals, there is no need to call on other professionals such as webmasters. Genius Loci was designed to be accessible, even for those who are not digital experts.
