{"id":139402,"date":"2023-12-27T16:12:09","date_gmt":"2023-12-27T14:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geniusloci.com\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=139402"},"modified":"2026-06-29T19:19:35","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T17:19:35","slug":"customize-genius-loci-medals","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/geniusloci.com\/en\/faq\/customize-genius-loci-medals\/","title":{"rendered":"What can be customized on Genius Loci medals?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;166560&#8243;]When creating Genius Loci medals, we realised one thing:<\/p>\n<p>Signage within towns or regions is often inconsistent and lacks unity \u2014 especially when it comes to physical + digital experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Each project often means reinventing the wheel, with very high design costs.<\/p>\n<p>With Genius Loci, we imagined a universal standard suited to any town, village or region in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Medal dimensions and their general appearance are fixed, but we make customisation possible.<\/p>\n<h3>What can be customised<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The text in the blue zone on the visual below can be changed to your town or project name.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe wording \u00abGenius Loci\u00bb is not mandatory, but it will be added by default if the requested text is not long enough to frame the QR code attractively.<\/p>\n<p>Customisation is available from an order of 20 medals (1 pack)<\/p>\n<h3>What cannot be customised<\/h3>\n<p>It is not possible to change the shape or overall design of the medals.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00absecrets of the place\u00bb inscriptions in several languages must be kept. If those languages are not relevant to the region where you plan to install the medals, they can be redefined.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is not possible to add an image, logo or coat of arms on the physical medals<\/strong>.
