As part of the Balade Découverte, the tourist office has created a cultural experience that blends an urban walking route with artistic creation. The aim: to enrich an existing stroll by weaving in an artistic and narrative dimension.
The initiative is built around a collaboration with two Valaisan artists — poet Jazz Moka and graphic designer Floriane Biner. Together, they created a series of 20 works (10 poems and 10 illustrations) distributed along a route through the city.
The experience unfolds across 10 points of interest. At each stop, visitors discover a new work, gradually building a dialogue between text and image as they make their way through the route.
Access is straightforward: simply scan a QR code at the starting point (Place de la Planta) and you’re ready to explore at your own pace, with no assistance needed.
Free of charge, approximately two hours long, and available in French, this initiative aims to showcase the local territory while offering a genuinely accessible and immersive cultural experience.
