When creating Genius Loci medals, we realised one thing:
Signage within towns or regions is often inconsistent and lacks unity — especially when it comes to physical + digital experiences.
Each project often means reinventing the wheel, with very high design costs.
With Genius Loci, we imagined a universal standard suited to any town, village or region in the world.
Medal dimensions and their general appearance are fixed, but we make customisation possible.
What can be customised
The text in the blue zone on the visual below can be changed to your town or project name.
The wording «Genius Loci» is not mandatory, but it will be added by default if the requested text is not long enough to frame the QR code attractively.
Customisation is available from an order of 20 medals (1 pack)
What cannot be customised
It is not possible to change the shape or overall design of the medals.
The «secrets of the place» inscriptions in several languages must be kept. If those languages are not relevant to the region where you plan to install the medals, they can be redefined.
It is not possible to add an image, logo or coat of arms on the physical medals. However, with Genius Loci Pro you will be able to change the app branding — see «branding».
